Annual fees are currently £25 for a full plot and membership to the association.
Currently the waiting time is approximately 3-4 years due to high demand in the Edinburgh area.
A full plot is approximately 200 square meters (around 20m x 10m). However, we also have many smaller and irregularly shaped plots available.
Yes, dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times and owners must clean up after their pets.
The association does not provide communal tools. Each plot holder is expected to bring their own gardening equipment.
Please contact the committee as soon as possible if you are unable to tend your plot, it's better to discuss issues early rather than letting a plot become neglected.
Allotments are primarily for personal use and enjoyment. While small-scale sharing or occasional sales are generally acceptable, larger scale commercial growing operations are not permitted under the terms of your plot agreement.
Yes! We hold an Annual General Meeting, and occasionally organise social events, plant swaps, and community workdays. These are great opportunities to meet fellow allotment holders and share knowledge.
